About Us
About the firm that Embraces Community
The attorneys of Clayton & McCulloh have been representing Community Associations across Florida since 1974. The law firm of Clayton & McCulloh has been actively practicing in this area since 1987. Our law firm has a reputation for finding creative and innovative solutions to the challenges faced by Community Associations through aggressive representation - all with a personal touch. Association law is one of the fastest growing areas of law. We pride ourselves on staying in the forefront of this ever-changing industry.
We represent Community Associations throughout Florida. Among our vast clientele are:
- Homeowner Associations
- Condominium Associations
- Co-Operatives
- Condotels
- Time-Shares
- Manufactured Home Communities
- Mobile Home Parks
From the creation to the termination of Community Associations, Clayton & McCulloh handles all facets of Community Association law, except tax and criminal issues. From the somewhat typical covenant enforcement and collection matters to the more complex construction defect and class action declaratory judgment cases, we handle them all for our clients. Additionally, for our non-Association clients, we handle real estate, corporate, probate, eminent domain, and estate planning issues and civil litigation matters.
Servicing community associations isn’t a 9 – 5 job because our clients are not 9 - 5 clients. We appreciate that many individuals who serve on boards of directors work during the day. Therefore, our attorneys and staff will meet with clients in the evening and on weekends if the need arises. In fact, as our client you are provided a 24/7 contact number to reach a representative of our firm. This is just one example of our commitment to our clients. It doesn’t matter if your Association has 4 units or 40,000 units – each of our clients are very important to us. We have built a successful practice by establishing long-term relationships with our clients.
Our firm currently consists of five attorneys and a staff of approximately twenty-five paralegals, law clerks, legal secretaries, and administrative assistants – all highly trained to meet the demands of Community Associations. As a small law firm, we pride ourselves in offering big law firm services, but with the personal touch of a small firm.
Our Central Florida office is located in Maitland and we also featured a Melbourne office in the Suntree/Viera area
We also have two somewhat unique departments servicing our clients that are not available at every law firm. These include Public Relations and Client Services Department. Their services are much appreciated, in part because they do not charge any fees. Our Public Relations Department works with various trade partners and organizations and assists our prospective clientele. This Department also facilitates producing our educational seminars for Board Members and Managers (client and non-client) and social media. Our Client Services Department works as a liaison with both new and on-going clients to answer questions and address their needs. Both of these departments offer their services on a complimentary basis since the early 1990’s.
You can hire us on an as-needed hourly rate basis or you may choose to take advantage of one of our optional prepaid legal packages. We also offer numerous flat fee and other complimentary services to our clients.
We have an unwavering commitment to provide quality, cost-effective, and innovative legal services for our clients. We endeavor to treat each of our clients as if they were our only client. At Clayton & McCulloh, we strive to stay up with current law and to be on the forefront of the law and its emerging trends.
We would be honored to represent you and build a long and successful professional relationship with your Association. For more information about our firm or to hire our firm, please contact our Public Relations Department and/or request a Legal Services Package.
